Established in 1928 with originally 14 teams one of which, The Wimbledon Village Club was a founding member.

The league is now formed of 1 division which are teams from pubs and social clubs from in and around the Wimbledon area.

The emphasis is on socialising whilst maintaining a competitive nature. Teams and players vary from the highest standard to relative beginners and any player can find a place on a team.
